Frank Smith
I am
very sad about the news that Frank Smith passed away
suddenly on 30 December 2009 from a heart attack
while on holiday in Spain. Frank started Tango in
Manchester and is the founding figure of many Tango
communities of the Northwest. He touched and
influenced so many of us in the Tango community.
Frank was always so generous with his time,
knowledge and encouragement. We will miss him
dearly.

There will be a Tango Tea Dance organised in his
memory and to celebrate his life. Frank’s daughter
Gail, son in law Phil and granddaughters Amy and
