Important: We are on a mid-tearm break. There are no Thursday classes on 13th November 2025. We return on 20th November with classes as normal.

The festive season is rapidly approaching. Still deciding what to get for your special person? What about a gift certificate for a private Tango lesson? Or a set of lessons to our next Basic Technique course starting in January. Both of these ideas could give you and your loved one an amazing couples experience that might lead to a life changing shared passion.

Our next regular evening milonga is on Thursday 4th December 2025 from 8:00pm to 10:00pm. As usual our Basic Technique class runs before from 7pm to 8pm and is included in the evening price.

Our next workshop, Volcaditas is on Saturday 22nd November 2025 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

We have a 3 hour Christmas milonga party on Thursday 18th December 2025 from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.

At a loose end between Christmas and New year? Come to our 3rd annual Mince pie milonga on Saturday 27th December from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.

Whether you are new to Tango or looking to reconnect with the dance after a break, our Basic Technique course is the perfect place to learn. We offer the best introduction to Tango you can fine anywhere in the North West focusing on developing good technique and core skills.

Our Autumn 2025 Basic Technique course is now closed to new participants who have never danced Tango before, but if you have previously danced Tango you can join us at any point during the course.

If you are new to Tango and still want to learn this beautiful dance now rather than wait until January 2026 there are some options:

Consider private lessons. With just a few private lessons you could catch up and join the current course.
Ask us about a catch-up day. If there is enough interest Tango Cheshire can run a fun one-day Argentine Tango intensive to get you and others up to speed to join the current course.

Looking to dance?

Here at Tango Cheshire we host a Thursday night milonga every month and frequent weekend tea dances.

Our next evening Stepping Out Milonga in Wilmslow Preparatory School is on Thursday 4th December 2025 from 8:00pm to 10:00pm in Wilmslow. We do hope you can join us for a friendly evening of wonderful dancing. The evening price includes the Basic Technique class before the milonga.

We have a 3 hour Christmas party milonga on Thursday 18th December 2025 from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Come and celebrate the festive season as we count down to the holidays.

Between Christmas and New Year we have our 3rd annual Mince pie milonga in Prestbury from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Meet up with old friends and make new friends at this annual get together.

Looking to learn and develop your dancing?

We hold weekly classes every Thursday at Wilmslow Preparatory School. We highly recommend coming to the Basic Technique class as well as the Exploring Tango class if you are able.

Come to our Basic Technique class if you are a Leader or Follower who wants to learn the opposite role. We encourage dancers to experience both roles as they develop and find this is a fantastic way to grow your dancing in your primary role.

We offer private lessons in our beautiful Macclesfield Studio to accelerate your learning or to work on specific challenges. Private lessons are a great way to develop as these one to one sessions are tailored to your specific needs. Contact us for more information and to arrange a time.
