The last week of our summer term before we take a two week break is Thursday 13th August.

Our next Stepping Out Milonga is on Thursday 3rd September from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. This is a special 3-hour milonga to mark the start of our autumn term.

Our next Tea Dance is on Sunday 13th September 2026 1pm to 5pm. Before that we have a workshop to explore a Tango topic on Sunday 13th September 2026 10am to 12pm. In September the workshop is Finding Quebrada Moments

Booking is now open for our October Tango Immersion with Eric Jorissen, the founder of the famous El corte tango school on 24th/25th October 2026. The workshops are currently full but you can register on standby for any cancellations. This is an opportunity not to be missed!

Whether you are new to Tango or looking to reconnect with the dance after a break, our Basic Technique course is the perfect place to learn. We offer the best introduction to Argentine Tango you can find anywhere in the North West focusing on developing good technique and core skills.

Our Autumn 2026 Basic Technique course starts on Thursday 10th September. You don't need to book but arrive early so we can say hello and make you feel welcome. Ask us about private lessons if you want the best start possible or to reinforce what you learn in the lessons.

Looking to dance?

Here at Tango Cheshire we host a Thursday night milonga every month and frequent weekend tea dances.

Our next evening Stepping Out Milonga in Wilmslow Preparatory School is on Thursday 3rd September 2026 for 3 hours from 7pm to 10pm in Wilmslow. We do hope you can join us for a friendly evening of wonderful dancing.

Our next afternoon Tea Dance is our September Tea Dance. Join us on Sunday 13th September 2026 from 1pm to 5pm in Prestbury, Cheshire.

Looking to learn and develop your dancing?

We hold weekly classes every Thursday at Wilmslow Preparatory School. We highly recommend coming to the Basic Technique class as well as the Exploring Tango class if you are able.

Come to our Basic Technique class if you are a Leader or Follower who wants to learn the opposite role. We encourage dancers to experience both roles as they develop and find this is a fantastic way to grow your dancing in your primary role.

On Sunday 13th September from 10am to 12pm in the morning there is a workshop "Finding Quebrada Moments" . See our workshops page for more information. Make a day of it and stay for our September Tea Dance.

We offer private lessons in our beautiful Macclesfield Studio to accelerate your learning or to work on specific challenges. Private lessons are a great way to develop as these one to one sessions are tailored to your specific needs. Contact us for more information and to arrange a time.
