Our next Stepping Out Milonga is on Thursday 4th June from 8:00pm to 10:00pm. Why not join us for the Basic Technique class before hand from 7:00pm to 8:00pm which is included in the evening price.

Our next Tea Dance is on Sunday 14th June 2026 1pm to 5pm. Before that we have a workshop to explore a Tango topic on Sunday 14th June 2026 10am to 12pm.

Following our successful May tango weekend we are pleased to announce that Eric Jorissen, the founder of the famous El corte tango school is visiting us again on 24th/25th October 2026. This is an opportunity not to be missed!

If you are interested in learning Argentine Tango, you can find more information on our dedicated Starting Tango page.

Whether you are new to Tango or looking to reconnect with the dance after a break, our Basic Technique course is the perfect place to learn. We offer the best introduction to Argentine Tango you can fine anywhere in the North West focusing on developing good technique and core skills.

Our Summer 2026 Basic Technique has reached the point where you can npo longer join us if you have no previous Tango experience, however you may still be able to come along.

Consider private lessons. With just a few private lessons you could catch up and join the current course.
Ask us about a catch-up day. If there is enough interest Tango Cheshire can run a fun one-day Argentine Tango intensive to get you and others up to speed to join the current course.

If you have danced Argentine Tango before or dance elsewhere and are looking for another evening to polish your skills then you can join us at any time during the course.

Here at Tango Cheshire we host a Thursday night milonga every month and frequent weekend tea dances.

Our next evening Stepping Out Milonga in Wilmslow Preparatory School is on Thursday 4th June 2026 for 2 hours from 8pm to 10pm in Wilmslow. We do hope you can join us for a friendly evening of wonderful dancing. The evening price includes the Basic Technique class before the milonga.

Our next afternoon Tea Dance is our June Tea Dance. Join us on Sunday 14th June 2026 from 1pm to 5pm in Prestbury, Cheshire.

Looking to learn and develop your dancing?

We hold weekly classes every Thursday at Wilmslow Preparatory School. We highly recommend coming to the Basic Technique class as well as the Exploring Tango class if you are able.

Come to our Basic Technique class if you are a Leader or Follower who wants to learn the opposite role. We encourage dancers to experience both roles as they develop and find this is a fantastic way to grow your dancing in your primary role.

Our May Tango Weekend with Stefan Wimmer from the world famous El Corte is on 9th/10th May. There are four workshops to develop your Tango skills.

We offer private lessons in our beautiful Macclesfield Studio to accelerate your learning or to work on specific challenges. Private lessons are a great way to develop as these one to one sessions are tailored to your specific needs. Contact us for more information and to arrange a time.

If you dance Tango and find yourself in the North West of England on business or vacation you are very welcome to come and join us for the evening.
