Dancing
At our milongas we play mainly traditional Music. The music is arranged in tandas that are sympathetic to each other in style. We use cortinas, but depending on the number of dancers our cortinas are generally a short marked silence as we want tandas to flow and work with each other and we feel that if you are enjoying dancing with each other why should you be forced to stop after just one tanda if you don't want to.
Mince pie milonga
At a loose end between Christmas and New Year? Polish your dance shoes and join us for a relaxing afternoon of dancing at our Mince pie milonga tea dance on Saturday 28th December 2024 from 2pm to 6pm.
Prestbury Village Hall has a wonderful sprung wooden floor for dancing on. Plenty of free on site parking is available, and if traveling by train is just 8 minutes walk from Prestbury railway station.
